Dr. George Tan received the International Clinician Award at the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) 23rd Annual Scientific and Clinical Congress in Las Vegas, USA on May 17, 2014.
The International Clinician Award is given to an AACE member who is a clinical endocrinologist practicing outside of the United States in recognition of dedicated and compassionate care provided to patients with endocrine diseases. Recipients possess an exceptional knowledge and expertise in the field of clinical endocrinology and active advocacy AACE’s mission in both professional and public environments.
“Truly, I am blessed, overwhelmed and thankful for this unexpected recognition,” said Dr. Tan during his acceptance speech. “Rest assured that this will serve as an inspiration and a constant reminder to further improve my craft to be of service and continuously be one of he voices of clinical endocrinology in the Philippines.”
